Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a transformative role in enhancing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) by facilitating rapid pest identification, predicting potential outbreaks, and enabling precise pesticide application. Using machine learning, computer vision and internet monitoring. AI helps to reduce chemical use while promoting informed decision making, thereby supporting sustainable agricultural practices and strengthening ecological resilience. Recent studies indicate that AI significantly enhances the accuracy of pest monitoring and optimizes resource use in precision farming, which is crucial for protecting beneficial organisms and improving crop yields. Many AI applications primarily emphasize pest detection, often overlooking the broader IPM framework that encompasses biological control methods, ecological interactions, and socio-economic considerations.
