Introduction: This study investigates the differences in mental fatigue between female pranayama practitioners and non practitioners at the university level. The research involved 40 female participants, comprising 20 female pranayama practitioners from a yoga match practice at LNIPE institute and 20 female non-practitioners from MITS college. Methodology: Mental fatigue was assessed using standardized scales. Statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics and independent samples t-tests, were employed to compare the groups. Results and Discussion: The results reveal significant differences, indicating that pranayama practitioners exhibit lower mental fatigue compared to non-practitioners. These findings underscore the potential psychological benefits of pranayama practice in enhancing the well-being and reducing mental exhaustion. Conclusion: This suggests that engaging in pranayama is associated with reduced mental exhaustion and fatigue, likely due to the relaxation and stress-reduction benefits associated with pranayama practice. These findings highlight the potential psychological benefits of pranayama and emphasize its role in promoting mental resilience and well-being.
