This study explores the nexus between self-compassion, self-acceptance, and body image satisfaction among women diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). A cross-sectional design was employed, with 300 participants recruited from gynecological and endocrinological healthcare facilities. Participants completed a structured questionnaire assessing self-compassion, self-acceptance, and body image satisfaction. Results indicate moderate levels of self compassion, self-acceptance, and body image satisfaction among participants, with significant positive correlations observed between these constructs. Higher levels of self-compassion and self-acceptance were associated with greater body image satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance of integrating interventions targeting self-compassion and self-acceptance into clinical care for women with PCOS to promote positive body image and psychological well being. Further longitudinal and qualitative research is needed to elucidate the temporal dynamics and underlying mechanisms of these relationships.
