Immunomodulatory and neuroprotective effect of cryopreserved allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells on spinal cord injury in rats.
A clinical study of bone mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of hepatic fibrosis induced by hepatolenticular degeneration.
Association between IL18-607C/A and -137G/C polymorphisms and susceptibility to non-small cell lung cancer in a Chinese population.
Association between TNF-α rs1800629 polymorphism and the risk of myocardial infarction: A meta-analysis
The tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) G-308A polymorphism has been suggested to be a susceptibility factor for myocardial infarction (MI). However, differing results from various studies have led to controversial conclusions. Hence, we performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the association between TNF-α G-308A polymorphism and MI. Reported studies published before March 30, 2015 were included and analyzed from the PubMed and Embase databases. Study selection and data extraction were carried out independently by two authors.
Tumor necrosis factor alpha gene -308G>A polymorphism association with the risk of esophageal cancer in a Han Chinese population
Diversity of TNF-α region in Chinese domestic goats
Tumor necrosis factor-α is a cytokine with a wide range of effects on both lymphoid and non-lymphoid cells. In this study, we identified polymorphisms in major histocompatibility complex class III gene in the 4th exon and the 3' untranslated region of tumor necrosis factor-α to evaluate the immunogenetic diversity of Chinese south indigenous goat. Three single-nucleotide polymorphisms were identified and showed similar frequencies in different except MI loci.
Association of the TNF-α+489 G/A polymorphism with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease risk in Asians: meta-analysis
The association between the TNF-α +489 G/A polymorphism and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) remains controversial because of small group size and varied design among different studies. In the present study, a meta-analysis was conducted to assess the association between the +489 G/A polymorphism and COPD risk. A comprehensive search was conducted to identify articles that have reported an association between the TNF-α +489 G/A polymorphism and COPD risk.
Association of -238G/A and -863C/A polymorphisms in the TNF-α gene with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease based on a meta-analysis
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease; increasing evidence indicates that the TNF-α polymorphism is associated with progression of this disease. Few studies have focused upon association between TNF-α -238G/A or -863C/A polymorphism and COPD risk. Reported associations have been controversial because of small sample size and varied study design among the different studies. We performed a meta-analysis to assess the correlation of these two polymorphisms in the TNF-α gene with COPD risk.
