This retrospective study aimed to observe the clinicopathological features and immunological phenotypes, and explore effective treatment and prognosis for 12 Chinese Han patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome-related cutaneous Kaposi’s sarcoma. All 12 patients were human immunodeficiency virus-positive, and underwent the standard highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART).

Clinical image and pathology of hypertrophic cranial pachymeningitis

C. H. Shi, Niu, S. T., and Zhang, Z. Q., Clinical image and pathology of hypertrophic cranial pachymeningitis, vol. 13, pp. 10501-10509, 2014.

The objective of this study was to examine the clinical findings, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), pathological features, and treatment experiments of patients with hypertrophic cranial pachymeningitis (HCP). The clinical findings, MRI, and pathological appearances of 9 patients with HCP were analyzed retrospectively. The thickened dura mater was markedly enhanced after contrast media injection. The lesion near the brain hemisphere presented long regions of T1- and T2-weighted abnormal signal intensities.
