C. Y. Bai, Shi, X. Y., He, J., Xue, J., Feng, Y., Bai, C. Y., Shi, X. Y., He, J., Xue, J., and Feng, Y., Association between IL-10 genetic variations and cervical cancer susceptibility in a Chinese population, vol. 15, p. -, 2016.

We conducted an investigation into the role of the IL-10 polymorphisms -592A/C (rs1800872), -819C/T (rs1800871), and -1082A/G (rs1800896) in cervical cancer risk in a Chinese population. A case-control study was carried out, including 165 newly diagnosed cervical cancer patients and 165 control subjects. The polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism method was used to genotype the three IL-10 variant loci.

Role of IL-10 gene polymorphisms in the development of acute pancreatitis

B. Z. Jiang, Tang, L., Xue, H., Liu, D. P., Jiang, B. Z., Tang, L., Xue, H., and Liu, D. P., Role of IL-10 gene polymorphisms in the development of acute pancreatitis, vol. 15, p. -, 2016.

Recent studies have suggested that chemokines contribute to the initiation and development of acute pancreatitis. We evaluated the relationship between IL-10 gene polymorphisms (-1082A/G and -819T/C) and development of acute pancreatitis in the Chinese population, in order to provide data for screening high-risk Chinese individuals. In total, 182 patients with confirmed cases of acute pancreatitis and 262 control subjects were recruited from the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital between April 2012 and December 2014.

Meta-analysis of the IL-10 promoter polymorphisms and pediatric asthma susceptibility

Z. Y. Huang, Cheng, B. J., Wan, Y., Zhou, C., Huang, Z. Y., Cheng, B. J., Wan, Y., and Zhou, C., Meta-analysis of the IL-10 promoter polymorphisms and pediatric asthma susceptibility, vol. 15, p. -, 2016.

The results of previous epidemiological studies exploring the relationship between interleukin-10 (IL-10) promoter polymorphisms and susceptibility to pediatric asthma are not consistent. Therefore, we have performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to provide a more convincing conclusion. Odds ratios (OR) with their 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to evaluate the strength of association between the IL-10 promoter polymorphisms and susceptibility to pediatric asthma. Publication bias was examined by Begg’s funnel plots and the Egger test.

IL10 rs1800896 polymorphism is associated with liver cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis B

L. N. Cao, Cheng, S. L., Liu, W., Cao, L. N., Cheng, S. L., and Liu, W., IL10 rs1800896 polymorphism is associated with liver cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis B, vol. 15, p. -, 2016.

We conducted a case-control study to assess the role of two IL10 gene polymorphisms (rs1800896 and rs1800872) in susceptibility to liver cirrhosis, and their association with chronic hepatitis B in a Chinese population. A case-control study was designed to investigate the association between functional polymorphisms of IL10 (rs1800896 and rs1800872) and the development of liver cirrhosis. Between March 2012 and March 2014, we recruited 241 patients with liver cirrhosis and 254 controls from Xianyang Central Hospital.

Role of interleukin-10 gene polymorphisms in the development of coronary artery disease in Chinese population

H. M. Xu and Liu, Y. R., Role of interleukin-10 gene polymorphisms in the development of coronary artery disease in Chinese population, vol. 14, pp. 15869-15875, 2015.

The aim of this study was to investigate the association between three common SNPs (-1082A/G, -819T/C, and -592A/C) in the interleukin 10 (IL-10) gene, and the development of coronary artery disease. Between January 2013 and December 2014, 272 patients with coronary artery disease and control subjects (each) were recruited for this study from the Huaihe Hospital of Henan University. The IL-10-1082A/G, -819T/C and -592A/C gene polymorphisms were analyzed using a polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) assay.

Investigation of the association between Interleukin-10 polymorphisms and risk of acute pancreatitis in a Chinese population

H. L. Jia, Sun, P. L., and Lu, C. Q., Investigation of the association between Interleukin-10 polymorphisms and risk of acute pancreatitis in a Chinese population, vol. 14, pp. 15876-15881, 2015.

We conducted a case-control study to investigate the possible association between three common single nucleotide polymorphisms in interleukin-10 (IL-10) and the development of acute pancreatitis in a Chinese population. Between January 2013 and December 2014, 255 patients with acute pancreatitis and 255 control subjects were recruited for the study. Genotyping of IL-10 rs1800896, rs1800871, and rs1800872 was performed using polymerase chain reaction coupled with restriction fragment length polymorphism.
