We conducted an investigation into the role of the IL-10 polymorphisms -592A/C (rs1800872), -819C/T (rs1800871), and -1082A/G (rs1800896) in cervical cancer risk in a Chinese population. A case-control study was carried out, including 165 newly diagnosed cervical cancer patients and 165 control subjects. The polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism method was used to genotype the three IL-10 variant loci.
